Pick of the Month - March 2019
This year I wanted to showcase the images which I felt were the best I had taken in any one month. They won't necessarily be wildlife orientated and could include landscape or architecture. MARCH Not too many photos taken this month but these are my favourites. This Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) was happily chirping away on a bright Monday afternoon. It is usually a summer visitor and likes mature deciduous woodland with dense undergrowth. The Honeybee (Apis mellifera) appears in the garden in early spring. It is one of the most commonest of our bees. We have been blessed with some beautiful sunsets this year. This was taken from my garden, looking across the River Brett.
